Rural Attraction Roundtable: Remote Work Trends

May 20, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am

Join us on May 20th for a conversation on the future of remote work in our region – assessing the opportunity and discussing tactics to attract teleworkers. This roundtable is a platform for regional stakeholders to learn, support, and strategize local efforts to capitalize on the post-pandemic world.

The Rural Attraction Roundtable will feature:

Remote Work Trends and Incentives: A presentation on the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s Remote Work Survey. Presented by Lori Melancon, VEDP Vice President of Marketing & Communications, and David Devan, VEDP Assistant Vice President of Economic Competitiveness.

Telework!VA: An introduction to Telework!VA, a state program provided for by DRPT. Robin Mack and the Telework!VA team will share their resources for implementing a telework program and the advantages of doing so.

Locality Forum: An open discussion for sharing rural attraction efforts, asking questions, and expressing ideas. Facilitated by CSPDC Staff.

Email Grace Blanchard at grace@cspdc.org for registration information.
