Hi, I’m Ike! I’m a 22 year old university graduate of James Madison University. Being a Valley native, I have a real passion and desire to give back to our community.
As long as I can remember, I have traveled around my community by bike. I’m a big fan of healthy exercise, and I believe biking is a much easier way to get around town.
Even though I bike to avoid the stresses of traffic and parking, I also know how difficult it can be to share the road with motorists. I am an advocate of safe biking- especially to folks that may be new to the area or haven’t had as much experience sharing the road with motorists. It’s important that bikers understand that they can use the road along with motorists, as long as they do it in a safe, law- abiding way.
